Pukara is a building with aviaries housing a mix of tropical species, many tropical American species as well as some Asian and African species, as well as two-toed sloths and a butterfly area.
For most of my gallery postings from Walsrode, I have been using the recent species list by Daniel Sörensen to label aviaries and exhibits and to make species list in descriptions and comments, which might therefore have included some changed that occurred since my visits, mostly a small number of species being added or removed since May 24th without majorly changing the concept of certain exhibits.
However in Pukara the species composition of most of the aviaries has, according to the species list and a post in the Walsrode news thread, been extensively changed since my visit due to ongoing renovations and replanting of aviaries. I have therefore decided that for Pukara I will be labeling the aviaries and giving species lists as they were at the time of visit, so be aware that the labels and species lists are not current information, and that for a more recent list, one should look at Daniel's list, linked below.
