It's great to see so many Victoria Crowned Pigeons in one aviary! I wish that more large aviaries kept larger breeding groups of Crowned Pigeons. I've heard (but can't confirm) that multiple pairs of one species can be kept successfully in a single area if sufficient space is available. That's sort of the set up for the old Jurong Bird Park in Singapore.
@Summer Tanager I have seen large tropical halls with several pairs of crowned pigeons at a few different zoos in Europe. Pairi Daiza (in the Oasis greenhouse,Sclater's crowned pigeon) and Burgers' Zoo (in the Bush, Victoria crowned pigeon) also have substantial groups of crowned pigeons in a large greenhouse set-up. They are large and generally showy birds that are usually quite popular with visitors.
