Pygocentrus cariba?

Berlin Zoo Aquarium 07/2024
The Berlin Zoo Aquarium signs these as Pygocentrus cariba but all the individuals in the tank did not appear to have the characteristic black spot by their gills. Are they just the more commonly kept P.nattereri ?

The black gills spot is not always present in large P. cariba specimens, as it fades with age. cariba specimens lacking the spot are extremely similar to nattereri, and I do not know how to distinguish the two.

I think given the fact that the aquarium signs all their fish and anemones & corals very well I'll list it as P. cariba unless I get informed otherwise.
