@SusScrofa I think so. I see they are $39 right now for the aquarium and insectarium, $49 if you want to see the zoo as well (all three). I don't think that just the aquarium would be worth that, but as a combo it is an alright deal.
 
@SwampDonkey I'd probably pay the extra $10 to get the zoo admission as well. Do you remember if parking is included? If I'm not mistaken the aquarium is near the French quarter and parking is basically just pay lots. I do remember the zoo parking being free, but its located somewhere else.
 
@SusScrofa - I would imagine parking for the aquarium/insectarium is not included. As someone that lived in New Orleans for a number of years, I would suggest driving across the river to the West Bank, finding free street parking near the Algiers Ferry, and then taking the ferry across. The ferry is really cheap and spits you out right at the end of Canal Street. It is a really quick and easy walk to the aquarium/insectarium from there.
 
Good ideas, I did not have a car when I was there and I was staying a very easy walking distance from the aquarium. Parking is not included in the entrance fee.
