The large Sri Lankan bull elephant Bolivar who resided at the Philadelphia Zoo from 12-25-1888 until his death on 7-21-1908 was mounted by Academy taxidermist David McCadden in 1909. However, in time along with the skin Bolivar's skeleton was taken down from display.
