I would say these are snappers, but I am not sure which species.
It could be a Lutjanus lutjanus as that species lacks the black spot that many other species have
I agree these are Lutjanus sp., but they don't look quite right for L. lutjanus IMO, especially with those white dorsal spots. Could these potentially be extremely pale L. biguttatus?
