Pangolin Trail Statue

Taken today at the brand new (softly) opened Pangolin Trail, due to its soft opening it has not been fully revealed yet.

It's not like our traditional boards that welcome you to the Trail (I'm pretty sure it's in the middle of the trail too lol), but it does look visually very nice.

I like how it's just a repurposed statue from one of the many, many pangolin donation boxes that used to be in our malls and schools back then.

Is this the old statue from the first pangolin exhibit at Fishing Cat Trail?

@BucerosKeeper i don't think it is. The donation box models were a lot less refined and detailed. A number of new Pangolin models were commissioned for the trail. They're from a theming specialist based in Thailand. The same company created many of the educational artifacts and themed feeders for Bird Paradise.

Edited to add that the same company also produced the Tasmanian Devil Trail animal models.
