The Binturong should be able to enter the exhibit through the overhead log. While the overall exhibit area is quite spacious, it’s quite restrictive for the Binturong if it is only confined to the top of these 2 trees (plus one more near its den). I’m not too sure whether they will add more trees / logs that the Binturong can utilize or are they confident that it can share the land space with the otters?
@honeybadger thanks for sharing the photos of the new exhibits. I'm quite sure more climbing features will be added to this exhibit, hence it isn't open yet.
@Zooish It's good to hear that. I'm quite curious why they don't put a notice that the exhibit was not ready yet though. I was amused when a group of Japanese visitors trying to look for the otters earlier, only to find some wild frog(?) in the pond.
@honeybadger haha poor Japanese tourists. I think it was a late decision to soft open the trail in its incomplete form, so no one really had the time to produce temporary notices.
