The koi pond was as beautiful as advertised and the koi were as frenzied as they tend to be. The nearby Japanese Crane exhibit was also very nice, though I only saw one for a minute before he disappeared into the foliage.
Oh, something I forgot to mention was my sister was pretty sure she saw a Pig-nosed Turtle in this koi pond? It was unsigned, but they seem to have a lot of unsigned random additions hiding around.
