Giant Tortoise at the Saint Louis Zoo

(6/5/2023)
I remember there being signs for both Aldabra and Galapagos Giant Tortoises, but the zoo website only lists Aldabra. Is this actually an Aldabra or a Galapagos?

UNQOUTE

Saint Louis Zoo used to have large groups of both Aldabra (3.2) and Galapagos tortoises (1.0.4). At some point the Galapagos tortoises got reduced to a single individual only. This formerly unsesed tortoise turned out to be a female hybrid. Mdst of the Galapagos giants were faiirly young at the time and the older male and 3 youngsters all died in just the one season during 1995.
