Itabashi Botanical Garden has a collection of fishes, reptiles, amphibians and birds along with plants.

Two indivicuals of Giant Freshwater Whiprays are held at 2 aquariums in Japan, and Itabashi is the only aquarium with an adult. This ray in the photo is a three-metre-long mature female named "Chao", and is housed with other tropical freshwater fishes.
