@Stefan Verhoeven The zoo is between 800 acres/323 hectares and 2,000 acres/809 hectares in size, depending on which website you look at. When @twilighter and I were there, we needed the golf cart for sure or else there's vast distances to cover by car. Walking is out of the question, other than the 'Zone 1' area that is African, South American and Asian fauna. One could stroll around that area, but it would still be daunting. 'Zone 2' has Asian and Australian areas and I think it's actually impossible to walk as we'd didn't see anyone do that. It's all self-driven vehicles or rented golf carts. To get to 'Tiger Valley', which is 10 feline species and maybe 15 exhibits, it's an enormous distance through the jungle on a paved road and it's a huge area of land. This zoo is massive AND fantastic.
