This illustration, with measurements, is of 'Otto,' the huge Reticulated Python that lived at Tierpark Dessau until his unfortunate passing in 2018, having lived for 40 years at that time.
At a length of close to 7 metres, Otto was the longest snake in Europe (captivity?) and the oldest member of this species in Europe as well.
