Thank you for including the photo of the bird signs! I've been curious what they would put in the Chilean Flamingo exhibit. In this and your other photos, I could see Orinoco Goose, White-faced Whistling-Duck, Comb Duck, Southern Lapwing, Wood Stork, Roseate Spoonbill, and maybe one of the Wood-Rails (Gray-necked or Giant). Based on these signs, it looks like Black-faced Ibis are in the exhibit (and up-and-coming species in the U.S.) as well as Brazilian Teal and Red Shoveler!
@Summer Tanager a lot of species I was not expecting in here to be honest. A lot of duck species in particular, and there will only be more soon. Argentine Lake Duck is next in line.
This is an impressive aviary and it looks like a great space to house and display South American waterfowl! They already have or have plans for a diverse mix and adding Lake Duck is a great choice. My home zoo of Oklahoma City has an Argentine Lake Duck - a drake that is at least 16 years old and very popular. This seems to be a species that would catch on in the zoo world if a few more zoos would invest in space for it.
