Not sure quite what the history here is, but it is one of many nice hidden features of history and art that really enhance this upper area of Prague Zoo.
Black plague collumn. Built in 1680 at one of the Prague mass graves to commemorate the victims of black plague epidemy that killed between 1/5 and 1/4 of Prague citizens during spring and summer of 1680.
