Cape porcupine exhibit - Santiago Zoo (Zoologico Nacional)

Are some of the doves in this photo native ones? The closest one near the lower center of the photo looks like an Eared Dove (Zenaida auriculata) and the dove on the far right near the wall looks like a Chilean Pigeon (Patagioenas araucana). Thank you for posting these photos from the Santiago Zoo!

I believe the two individuals you mention were Zenaida auriculata, being the second probably just a bit darker, maybe due to the wall's shadow. I did see Patagioenas araucana in other parts of the city though, including, not ironically, the Parque Araucano! :D
