Old Amur Leopard Exhibit

The various birds inside are going to be shipped to Disney's Animal Kingdom. Taken on 6-6-21.

I ponder what will replace the leopards? I sure hope it will be monkeys despite the fact that African Forests exist.
 
@PossumRoach Unfortunately, the aviary ended up being demolished, and now, only the barriers and sheltered viewing area are all that’s left of this enclosure.

@Sarus Crane I don’t think that the birds ever ended up leaving for Animal Kingdom; and since these were surplus individuals of animals already contained elsewhere. I suspect that they were reintegrated with the other displayed birds.
 
@Sarus Crane Indeed, it happened several months ago over the summer. Also, head to post #7 in the Jacksonville Zoo’s 2024 News Thread; where @King of Komodo Dragons mentioned the demolition of the aviary. Just note that they didn’t refer the aviary as the former leopard exhibit.
