Heh, hate to comment so late, but this is definitely a largetooth/freshwater sawfish (Pristis pristis). The other picture you took shows its dorsal fin originating distinctly prior to its pelvic fins, which is the key signifier between this species and its cousin the smalltooth sawfish (Pristis pectinata). This individual seems to be female, so also, it very well might be the one formerly housed at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach - she was moved to a larger aquarium in late 2015 and from what I gather, it was Ripley's of the Smokies.
