Asian Swamp Eel

Taken on 17th August 2024 in the Mekong River. At least 3(?) individuals have moved into the former Elephant Trunk Snake enclosure.

This is one goofy looking species of eel and I'm loving them, though I wonder where the ones in the Mangrove Walkthrough were always hiding, could never see them.

Were they in the last Mekong jewels tank, the one that used to be for the harlequin rasboras?

@NATY The last tank indeed and closest to the gate that leads to the Yangtze River, but forgot what was there before
