Ocelot + Pangolin Viewing Shelter

August 13, 2024
This is a weird exhibit, as when @twilighter and I were there we saw a couple of Pangolins locked in their indoor quarters, which was a very small area. In the spacious outdoor exhibit we saw an Ocelot, a very rare species in Southeast Asian zoos, and so our feeling is that the two species rotate on a day/night schedule. But that's just our hunch. At Taiping Zoo (Malaysia), the Chimpanzee exhibit is home to Servals at night in a similar setup.
