Calgary Zoo also used to have the mix until a panda was killed by the muntjac buck.

Can this be related to the individual characteristics of the animals or do they actually need lots of space to avoid each other? Indeed they complement each other nicely by one species being arboreal and the other one terrestrial. It always adds to the immersion of an exhibit when you have to look at different levels for the different species.

Nope, my mistake. You are right, they keep tufted deer and not musk deer
