Jurong Bird Park | Sunbathing Sclater's Crowned Pigeon

Taken January 2015.
I'm not an expert on the crowned-pigeon species, but I believe that this is a Sclater's Crowned-Pigeon (Goura sclaterii). The reddish color on the neck extends almost to the chin (which is more red than normally found on Victoria Crowned-Pigeon), and there is a reddish patch on the wing above the white wing-patch (this is normally blue on a Victoria Crowned-Pigeon). Both are very cool species and this is a very good photo!
