Leopard Darter (Percina pantherina)

These are new to the Zoo. They were collected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service three years ago from the Mountain Fork River in southeastern Oklahoma for a captive breeding program. These are older, probably post-reproductive, animals that are being housed at the OKC Zoo for educational outreach and display. It's great to have these little guys at the Zoo!
