@GiratinaIsGod It’s a large aviary for lovebirds, which alone wouldn’t make for a very exciting exhibit. The aviary includes exhibits for Leopard tortoise and Slender-tailed meerkats. Though I’m not aware of any previous incidents at Auckland Zoo (when they had the open air exhibit), birds of prey are a potential threat to meerkats in zoos and even urbanised areas in New Zealand can have them.
