This appears to be a strong contender for the zoo's worst exhibit. There doesn't seem to be many climbing opportunities and on first appearance the enclosure would appear to be designed for a small species of feline.
This orang enclosure is a long way from marvellous, and the gorilla meadow has its detractors, but I think I'd plump for this gibbon enclosure, which really does have an extraordinary paucity of opportunity within it:
It might have just been the chimpanzee enclosure being extended and improved - it is now rather good. The other apes remain in their original accommodation.
