This was intended for the park's beluga whales before their passing, if I'm not wrong because back in 2011 there was a listing for a "beluga underwater show" in their coming soon exhibits
@Fargusno Was this there for a long time? They used to have a group of Irrawaddy dolphins and some photos shown it in a tank. If yes, then this could also be where the Irrawaddy dolphins were held.
@Rizz Carlton Nah this looks kinda "new", prolly dating back from the early 2010s. The original Irrawaddy dolphin exhibit/show area may have been demolished.
@Fargusno the more I think of it, for an beluga, this tanks looks incredibly small that I doubt that it was the first plan. If this was new, it might've been built shortly after the belugas whales being phased out.
