New species for the zoo and a potential new for the gallery. The species was a recent split from T. popeiorum earlier this year, ranging from Yunnan, China to Laos and Thailand (Idiiatullina et al., 2024). It is worth mentioning that existing "Pope's tree viper" photos in the gallery might represent this species.
