As much as I love Greater Roadrunners, I'd be leery of putting small birds in with them, but Wonga Pigeons should be large enough to fend for themselves!
Also Tawny Frogmouths in with those two. There were mice and chicks provided as food, presumably for both the frogmouths and roadrunner, which rather highlights your point!
