South American Sea Nettle

Chrysaora plocamia | in the Southern California gallery. Their tank is just signed as "Jellies" which is why i couldn't ID them initially, but thanks to some juveniles that are in the tank, I was able to figure it out
Your photos are stunning! I visited the Aquarium of the Pacific soon after it opened in 1998, but haven't been back there since. It's on my list of places to go, but the traffic is always such a nightmare here in L.A. that I keep putting it off. Your pictures are an inspiration to visit it again!

@Lori Patton Thank you! That means a lot. Their collection at the moment is pretty awesome, but you're right the traffic is terrible. I went on a Saturday so it was a little better but it was super crowded inside. Unfortunately a lot of the fish aren't signed so it's a guess and ID game but overall I really enjoyed visiting again. I hope you're able to visit again soon

The one time I went, I took the subway there and it was a pretty empty car. Scenic views, too. I emailed a curator for unlabeled fish and crustacean IDs and they were helpful.
