I'm glad you were able to see and photograph it! It's the first time I've heard about tree shrews in the aviary! I hope they got all of the large snakes out before the netting was put in place!
@Summer Tanager i don't think there are many Teeeshrews in the aviary, perhaps just this one. Have not heard of issues with large snakes in the aviaries so far. The rodents are a real challenge to keep out though, and when rodents are present large snakes get attracted.
