Western Olivaceous Warbler Iduna opaca (?)

  • Media owner Therabu
  • Date added
Common reed warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus): the two olivaceous warbler species can look very similar sometimes but never have this many brown tones especially in the rump/vent area. Also note the round tail tip (tends to be quite square in Iduna sp.), shorter bill and overall rounder "jizz" of the bird typical of Acrocephalus species
