Renovated European aviary with new poles and now more open after removal of vegetation, 2024-12-29

Currently home to Waldrapp, Eurasian wigeon, European turtle dove (not seen during this visit) and Northern shoveler (not signed at the time of this visit).
It could really need some smaler native birds, like Eurasian siskins, Eurasian bullfinches or red shanks and more planting aswell
 
@GiratinaIsGod I think the aviary's mesh is too large for songbirds. They could also make a choice for species from more open habitats like grasslands, mountain areas or Mediterranean habitats to make an interesting exhibit.
