General Pathway (dark green): All access points for visitors that don’t relate to any specific exhibits.
-ENTRY ZONE- “Watch Your Step” (yellow): Penguins, red pandas, otters, and more. Smaller creatures. Includes the entrance point and a gift shop. “Territory of the River Horse” (orange): Hippos, crocodiles, African birds, and herps. Includes underwater viewing, a café, and an interpretation Gazebo.
-CONSERVATORY BUILDING- “Ducks of the Dashing Deciduous World” (purple): Ducks (crazy I know), alligators, and birds-of-prey. Includes a walkthrough aviary. “Night Time, Their Time” (gray): Aardvarks, small mammals, nocturnal birds, and more. Very dimly lit area for the best experience.
-MARINE SPECIES BUILDING- “The Great Atlantic Ocean” (dark blue): Stingrays, sea turtles, and fish. Includes a tunnel and a touchpool. “Ice Left to Anchor”(light blue): Penguins, Arctic seabirds, and seals. Includes a gift shop and snack stand.
-EXPLORATORY BUILDING- “Entomology Extravaganza!” (brown): Insects and arachnids. Includes a plethora of educational and interpretative displays, and a walkthrough butterfly dome. “Sea-Locked!: Diversity of the Endemics”(light green): Lemurs, Island birds, and Island reptiles. Also includes many educational displays on various island species.
-OUTDOOR LOOP ZONE- “Ukanda wa Africa” (red): Lions, gazelles, large birds, and more. Includes an educational plaza to learn about African wildlife. “Where is Your Rider?: Wild Horses in the Spotlight” (tan/goldish): Rhinos, equids, and cranes. Includes a gift shop and educational displays.
