It's difficult to see but there is a huge male Mandrill in this cage, which is only big enough for it to take probably a few paces in each direction. Most of the enclosures at Nanning Zoo are fine - the majority of the monkey cages range from "good" to "okay", for example. But then there is also this unfortunate block of absolutely horrendous cages for monkeys, gibbons and bears which are just tiny. Really depressing to see them in contrast to some of the other enclosures here.
