Birdhouse - Tropical Rainforest walk-through - Grey-capped Emerald Dove (Chalcophaps indica)

Thank you for posting these photos from the aviary! The dove in this photo looks like a female Superb Fruit-Dove (Ptilinopus superbus) rather than an Emerald Dove. There are a lot of similarities between the two species, but the fruit-dove has the green band and a white belly, while the belly, breast, neck, and throat of the Emerald Dove is brownish or purplish-brown. Also the Emerald Dove has a brown tail and brown primary feathers, while the fruit-dove has a green tail and dark green primary feathers. I think that both the Superb Fruit-Dove and the Emerald Dove are found in this aviary.
