The cage was labelled for Indochinese Black Langur (T. ebenus) and did hold one individual of that species, but also three Francois' Langurs and this pictured langur which at the time I thought was a Laotian Langur but is actually a wild hybrid between Francois' and White-headed Langur. It was very difficult to get proper photos because the glass was both dirty and very reflective in the sun - this was the best photo by far.
@Chlidonias The individual does not look like a typical Laotian langur to me though. The black crest of a Laotian langur would extend further down, and the white "beard" shown in this individual is absent in "real" Laotian langurs. I suspect this mysterious langur is sort of a hybrid given the history of hybridization between Francois and white-headed langurs in Nanning.
I received information from the staff of the Chongzuo Nature Reserve that this should be a hybrid of a white headed langur and a Francois langur, and the individuals in the white headed langur cage should also be
@YuanChang I thought the two animals I saw in the cage labelled for White-headed Langurs looked odd, but they were at the top of the cage at a bad angle so I thought no more of it.
