Cape Vulture Aviary - Window view

New exhibit made from refurbishing and renovating the previous Ibex habitat
One of the best things about ZooChat is when a new exhibit opens and within a day there are already photos covering it in detail. Thanks for the great pictures Julio! Wonderful to see vultures get an inspired exhibit when they're sometimes treated like an afterthought.

@PercideRolo that’s one thing I noticed too, the rock work is quite amazing and I’d seen the vultures display nesting behaviors as soon as I was there :)

@pachyderm pro thank you so much! I was lucky to have been able to photograph it and got there as early as possible. Honestly it’s probably one of my favorite new smaller exhibits I’ve seen as it’s literally so simple but the attention to detail was it well thought of!

I *just* missed seeing this exhibit on my visit; all I could see was tall netting from the construction fence! This new exhibit (plus unintentionally goofing on several notable species in LA) certainly warrants another visit!
