Chester Zoo Aerial Picture. Guess the year!

Long before Google Earth, a nice aerial view of Chester Zoo. A Zoo Chat Challenge, guess the year (and tell me why)
A few clues to start... The Bridge Café, the old Parrot House, no Ha-ha at the Red Lechwes, a complete Temperate Bird House and an urn, rather than the otters in the fountain!
@James Barber Hi James, yes, the Lion enclosure IS still connected to the stable block, and, even better, the original lion enclosure viewing ramp is still in use (next to the shop) near what would later be Jubilee Square monorail station.

Did we get the year in the end?

I'm stuck because it doesn't look like the penguins have underwater viewing which was opened in 1981 but it looks like they are doing building work on the Tigers which opened 1985.

Can we have a clue please.

The old parrot house is visible. As you mentioned the bridge cafe is there. The Grant's Zebra and Fallow Deer paddock has a fence instead of the ha-ha. A 1960s type car is visible. I don't remember the old parrot house although I must have seen it.
