Blue-naped Pitta (Hydrornis nipalensis)

Congratulations!! It's a very nice photo! I'm a whole ocean away from seeing a wild Pitta of any species, so the best I can do is to see a Hooded Pitta in a zoo!
 
@Summer Tanager Glad that you like it! It's a quite secretive bird and we had to sit in a hide for three hours before she showed up. There're also hooded pittas in this area, though they only come back for breeding in May so we didn't get to see them this time.
 
You have a lot more patience that I have! I'm impressed that you sat tight and waited for three hours! You got some great photos of the pitta for your time and effort!
