Hey guys my final bird I need identified at this specific zoo. Took inside the bird house at smithsonian national zoo
@Andrew_NZP thanks! Though since you said "believe" I want to see if anyone else on here can confirm if you are indeed correct!

I agree with those that think this is a Scarlet Tanager! I'm not sure if it's a female or a male in winter plumage (this is one of the tanager/cardinal species that has an alternate winter plumage that is greenish-yellow). Although Saffron Finch is a great guess (it crossed my mind too), the bill color and shape isn't quite right (the bill is too long and it isn't bicolored like that of a Saffron Finch, which often has a yellow lower mandible). Nice photo and I hope it's a female that is nest-building!

thanks @Breckenridge and @Summer Tanager for confirming that it is a female scarlet tanager! and thank you @Andrew_NZP for being the original person to say so!

Sometimes I need few people to confirm espeically when it comes to female birds since they can look similar to others. Especially if two people comment two different species then there needs to be a tie breaker lol..
