Some of the worst enclosures at Kobe were in this area. What you see here is the entire enclosure for the peccaries - just a glass-fronted cupboard basically.
Considering that this enclosure used to be a mixed species enclosure with American red squirrels, it’s appropriate to call it a squirrel enclosure with peccaries in it. There aren’t squirrels in it anymore, so what gives?
