Aoudad and Lemur enclosure - Oshima Park Zoo

Oshima (Izu Islands), March 2025
A very large enclosure built around a natural lava rock "mountain", housing Aoudads and Ring-tailed Lemurs (although on my visit the lemurs were contained within their side-cage). Apparently this is the largest primate enclosure in Japan.
 
A bit of an odd choice for ring-tailed lemurs, but I suppose they are grassland-dwellers.

Still, you'd expect a rocky enclosure like this to be for macaques
