I assumed this was an American cockroach (Periplaneta americana), but I did some reverse image searching as its dark spot on the pronotum seemed dark, and it looks like this is an Australian cockroach (P. australasiae) due to the yellow on its side, which would make sense if it was in a butterfly house.
