South American aviary (Now the Hanuman langur exhibit), 2010-04-18

This aviary held Western cattle egret, Ringed teal, Black-necked stilt, Fulvous whistling duck and Blue-throated piping guan. Based on the ZTL listings of the bird species the exhibit existed in this form until 2013. In 2015 it already housed Hanuman langurs.
I like this as a langur walkthrough enclosure, but I do think it's kind of a shame that Apenheul now focuses almost 100% on primates because I think this worked better as an aviary. I get that it's a primate park, but a bit of diversity wouldn't hurt
