I recall how I was a bit annoyed that some of these aviary blocks are now covered with a sign at the moment...
but then I see some pictures of Cretney-era Encounter Village.... I concur that this was not the prettiest or most interesting thing in the world!
The aviary's certainly serviceable for a bird.. but somehow it seems a bit uninspired to myself
Part of me wishes they could've fleshed out the Australia idea a bit more... they had emus, kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras, and a brush-tail possum at one point all at the same time... but in my opinion it never lived to true potential...
Which I think is a general theme for developments made around this time xP
