The Okapis are off show, I was at the right place at the right time to snap this photo. They will make their public debut at the upcoming Rainforest Wild Africa.

@Zooish, I’m glad you were able to see this okapi, even if Rainforest Wild Africa isn’t ready just yet.

Also, do we have an estimated date as to when RWAF will open?

Will there be any new species making their Singapore debut when Rainforest Wild Africa opens, such as gorillas or mandrills?

@aw_101 We've had Mandrills before at the Zoo, currently the Red-Capped Mangabey enclosure.

Not sure about any potential new species for Rainforest Wild Africa, though I assume at the very least if we're super lucky, Sifakas are a big IF that could potentially be part of the collection.

@Zooish Hi I am going to the Singapore Zoo in a few days can you tell me what time and where I have to go to see a Okapi since that is dream come true for me.

@Jaiden Its held back of house at Singapore zoo and as zooish mentioned u just have to be at "the right place at the right time" to see them. If you want to see okapis for sure, I wouldn't recommend Singapore as of now

I didn't know there were Okapi in Asian zoos outside of Japan.
