The pygmy hippo is/are single/pair individuals? Do you know anything about their life history (sex, age, birthing records, origins from where)? Thanks for any further informations!
@Kifaru Bwana it seems like they once had 2-3 hippos from what I remember from photos a decades ago. They only have a single individual on-display now, no idea about it's sex and overall history.
I'd imagine this came from Surabaya? A lot of hippos in Indonesian city zoos seems to be originated from Surabaya (Bandung, for example, and not to mention Gombloh at Gembira Loka himself).
