Sarda sarda. A widely distributed species, Fishbase sescibes it as oceanodromous: I had to look this up, it means that they migrate through the ocean.They certainly swim very fast, the photos I took on my first visit were all blurred.
I apologise for showing a black and white image here. The blue fabric roof of this tank and the relatively red artificial light, have prevented me from showing the silvery undersides and cyan shine between the black stripes on their backs. They a wonderful sight.
