Lemur House - Black Lemur (Eulemur macaco)

I have no memory of this, although I seem to have noted that Black Lemurs were kept in a cage beside the Crowned Lemur cage near the elephants, which I do remember. Is this indoor portion a new extension or am I simply being forgettful?

I guess you have forgotten it because this used to be a walk-through which is closed now for several years due to misbehaviour of visitors. You can see the black lemurs through both former entrances. It is a real shame cause in the far left corner on the picture is the only possibility to have a glance on the Grandidier's Vontsira, one of Magdeburg true gems.

@Philipine eagle thanks, wonder how I missed / forgot it. Very interesting that it used to be a walkthrough because it doesn't quite look big enough for it, and I can't think of any other zoos with two lemur walkthroughs. Also good to know where the vontsiras are kept since being moved offshow, as on my visit they were still in a fully onshow enclosure within the other lemur walkthrough; I wonder what the motive for moving them here was.
