@ralph Sorry for the late response - I was actually in Erfurt yesterday myself and didn’t check ZooChat.
As I assume you already know by now, they’re kept outdoors, and the only time they were active for us was during feeding.
@Daniel Sörensen What a coincidence. I am glad at least one of us got to visit Erfurt. How did you like the zoo?
I did end up visiting Braunschweig as a quick stop on my journey from Leipzig to Aachen. I did see the opossums, all 6 or 7 of them curled up together in one of the logs. I did see some faces with eyes open. So they weren't exactly active, at least they were not completely asleep either.
Since I was on a scedule, I did miss out on the feeding times and did not see the spotted skunks. It was also quite cold and a bit rainy.
I am happy I decided on the small detour though. Braunschweig Zoo is tiny but charming.
